This Easter we saw a great partnership collaboration between popular restaurant chain Frankie & Benny’s, and the amazing long-running children’s charity, Rays of Sunshine.

As a result, Easter themed fund-raising activities were hosted at a number of Frankie & Benny’s restaurants across the UK. Activities included raffles, egg and spoon races, egg decoration, make your own pizza and guest appearances from Spiderman, Spongebob and Bumblebee to name just a few.

Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity was formed in 2003 to brighten the lives of children who are living with serious or life-limiting illnesses, between the ages of 3-18, across the UK.

Slinky, working alongside ATC as a partnership production, travelled to various Frankie & Benny’s restaurants to film the action and collect interviews with staff and members of the public. A resounding amount of positive feedback was given (and seen) throughout the weekend shoot.

The weekend aimed to raise towards an overall £300,000 goal for Rays of Sunshine from F&B restaurants, alongside even more fund-raining events planned for this year.

The final highlights video is destined to be premièred at The Frankie & Benny’s Rays Of Sunshine concert being held at The Royal Albert Hall in June, where the stage will be graced with stars including Little Mix, Conor Maynard, Ella Eyre, Union J and Collabro.
