Documenting Pride

Slinky Productions are proud to be working with Birmingham Pride again this year to produce a series of official videos that will culminate into a half-hour insightful documentary (broadcast TBC). Slinky have been documenting and filming the ´behind-the-scenes´ set-up of the festival for the past 5 months.

Birmingham Pride is a weekend long lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender festival held annually in the Gay Village in the heart of Birmingham held over the Spring Bank Holiday Weekend in May.

It is uniquely the largest FREE LGBT two day festival in the UK - and features a Carnival Parade through the city centre plus entertainment zones - including dance arena, main stage, cabaret marquee, fun-fair, community village green, central market street, and the friendliest street party.

The 2011 theme is ´One World - One Love - One Community´ bringing together all the celebratory elements of the festival for all to enjoy.
