Marie Curie – Legacy Awareness

The Brief
To create an insightful and thought provoking film that would engage with staff in order to increase awareness of legacies and gifts in wills across the organisation.

Creative Treatment
We decided on a hook for the film that would be ‘what would you do’? We then decided to interview various fundraisers and staff from across the organisation to tell their stories and help build awareness within the various teams. We used steadicam camera rigs for flying shots of the various facilities and also engaged with Marie Curie nurses to help understand the key messaging of the charity.

The Outcome
The video allowed Marie Curie to get across a clear and unambiguous message to a wide audience, and was promoted through a number of channels. As a result of the campaign, they instantly saw results and improvements in awareness. Staff from across the organisation were talking more about gifts in Wills and thinking about how they could make a difference in the work they were doing. Ultimately this meant more supporters and members of the public were being made aware of the importance of this area of fundraising, something that will reap the benefits in years to come.
