The Food Foundation – Citizen’s Food Film

The Brief
To produce a short film showcasing a variety of people, cultures and social economic groups within Birmingham whilst delivering the Foundation’s messaging: the challenges that face the UK’s food system and the steps that can be taken towards providing a solution.

Creative Treatment
The film was to be kept brief and ‘fun’ in tone and style to maximise viewer engagement. A fluid montage with the voices of interviewees running throughout was decided upon.

The Outcome
Utilising handheld camerawork and on-location interviews, the video has an authentic, frenetic energy that delivers its message quickly and effectively.
