The Food Foundation – Citizen’s Food Film
The Brief
To create a film that highlights the diversity of food, and shines a light on affordable healthy food within Birmingham, by showcasing the variety of people, cultures, and social and economic backgrounds that makes Birmingham a city of global food.
Creative Treatment
By focusing on the food and the people, we created a film that is relatable and familiar, while showcasing new food options, and drawing attention to key messages through the tone and pacing of the video.
The Outcome
A film to promote the culinary scene of the city of Birmingham, promoting the Citizen’s engagement survey, and used as a tool by the local council to showcase Birmingham as an example of great food culture, and spark a conversation around healthy eating and food wastage.
